This series consists of the posters "International Polar Year 2007-2008: Resources on Polar Research in the NOAA Central Library Network", which contains photographs covering the earliest polar expeditions through 2007 and images of National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) websites that provide additional polar expedition information; "Explore: Physonect Siphonophore", which consists of a color photograph of the colonial animal; "International Polar Year 2007-2008: Polar Science - Global Impact", which displays pictures from the southern and northern hemispheres; and "First International Polar Year, 1882-1883", which contains an analysis of data taken during the first International Polar Year (IPY) along with photographs of the Arctic region taken during the 1880s.
